Zwitterion
In chemistry, a zwitterion ( ; from German zwitter "hybrid"and formerly called a dipolar ion) is a neutral molecule with a positive and a negative electrical charge, distinct from dipoles, at different locations within that molecule. Zwitterions are sometimes also called inner salts.
