英英释义
Neurolysis
Neurolysis may refer to the deliberate damaging of a nerve by chemical agents such as phenol, alcohol or glycerol in order to temporarily interrupt the transmission of nerve signals (usually for pain relief), or it may refer to any deliberate temporary therapeutic nerve damage, regardless of whether chemicals, laser, freezing or heating are used (a neurolytic block). It may also refer to the surgical freeing of a nerve from inflamed tissue.
